Michael Livschitz is a fiction writer based in Munich and the author of five novels and several works of short fiction.
He made aliyah to Israel in 1994 and later served in the Israel Defense Forces as part of the Nahal Brigade's 932 "Granite" Battalion, including service in active combat zones. His novel Storm in the Shadow draws on those experiences. An excerpt from the novel was published in Judith Magazine.
He is also the author of The Lost Watch, a literary speculative story about grief, memory, and the human desire to reverse irreversible loss.
Before Storm in the Shadow, he wrote four interconnected fantasy novels. He is currently working on new fiction projects.
